A guide to the best Spas in Copenhagen
A major part of Danish culture is wellness and making sure to take the time to relax. To ensure you fit in to the Danish lifestyle here are our favourite spa's we would recommend.
FREDERIKSBERG SVOEMMEHAL AND KURBAD
Helgesvej 29, 2000 - Frederiksberg
This is one of my personal favourites, I love the Art Deco feel to the place and it’s great value for money, 170dk for two hours but you can also use the swimming pool, sauna and steam room in the changing room all day.
Good to know: You need to book your time slot for the spa on the website, the weekends can get quite busy but if you’re lucky enough to have a day off in the week you will pretty much have the place to yourself! Remember to bring 20dk for the locker, they provide body wash and a salt body scrub which you should put on in the steam room at the end of your session. Be prepared for a naked shower and you must bare all in the sauna and steam room in the changing room.

SKODSBORG SPA HOTEL
Skodsborg Strandvej 139, 2942 - Skodsborg
This place is a real treat, the spa is brilliant with lots of different types of rooms, a nice swimming pool with massaging jets and an outdoor hot tub, it’s 600dk for the day but definitely worth it! The hotel is really nice, I would recommend sitting by the log fire in the lounge and on Sunday afternoons they have a pianist playing jazz. Also it's by the sea so in the Summer you can combine it with a trip to the beach.
Good to know: Check out the treatment page as they often have offers where if you buy a massage you get free access to the spa for the rest of the day. Also if you’re going as a couple it’s really good value to book a one night stay at the hotel for 1600dk which also includes a very tasty breakfast and two days of spa access.

MANON LES SUITES
Gyldenløvesgade 19, 1600 - Vesterbro
When entering the hotel you are literally blown away by the indoor pool which is nothing less than a tropical paradise. A very inviting pool surrounded by hanging plants, complimented with a poolside bar. On the rooftop is the sauna, steam room, sunbeds, restaurant and another bar. Such a luxury experience it’s hard to believe you're in the centre of the city!
Good to know: You can only use the pool & spa if you're a hotel guest, but a perfect present idea for your loved one. Quite pricey but if you pick the right night you can get one nights stay for 1599dkk and 50% off the second night.
