Wine bars in Copenhagen are the perfect mix of cosy and intimate atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and excellent service.  So here is our guide so far to some of our favourite wine bars in Copenhagen to relax in.

Ny Østergade 32, 1101 - City centre
A cute and cosy French wine bar situated in a small courtyard off the street. Nice selection of vino’s and it also serves food. The food options are light which makes it ideal if you are not after a heavy meal.

Must try : The Croque Monsieur
Vibe : Casual / Date night
Good to know : Beau Marche is also a beautiful interior and furniture store right next to the courtyard.

Værnedamsvej 16, 1619 - Vesterbro
Recommended to us by a Danish friend, this one is a total winner and combines everything we like in a wine bar. Cosy candle lit atmosphere, friendly and helpful bar service, plus of course amazing wine and bar snacks.  A place we could definitely spend all night in.

Must try : The Velvet Devil Merlot (with bonus points that a percentage of the cost goes to the Red Cross). It also compliments very nicely with the olives and salted almond snacks!
Vibe : Casual / Date night
Good to know : This wine bar is situated on a cute street with some nice restaurants and boutiques.  One of the them being Granola - a cosy French restaurant.

Jægersborggade 56, 2200 - Nørrebro
We have only been to this wine bar during the day since it has that relaxed and chilled atmosphere which makes it good for some daytime drinking. It’s really nice in the Summer where you can sit outside and people watch. Service is really good and they will happily assist you in making your wine selection.

Vibe : Casual / day drinking
Tip : The Prosecco is really good!
Good to know : This is situated on one of our favourite streets which we like to nickname "Jagerbomb Street"!  When the weather is perfectly sunny it can attract many people and has a great vibe.

Ved Stranden 10, 1061 - City centre
A popular and renowned wine bar with a beautiful scandi interior. This sophisticated wine bar is at the higher end of the price range so it's likely to be mostly appreciated by the true wine lovers! There is no menu here as the experienced bar staff like to make a selection for you based on your taste.  It is a really nice place to go in the Summer since you have the option to sit outside right by the canal.

Vibe : Quiet and relaxed / date night
Good to know : Small food dishes are on offer with selections of cheeses and breads.
Tip : Without a price menu it is easy to get carried away in here and the bill can quickly rack up!
