We love a good cocktail and there are so many good places in Copenhagen to find them. They are always made to a high standard without scrimping on the alcohol! So here is a small guide to our favourites...

Dannebrogsgade 6, 1660 - Vesterbro
I think this has got to be one of our favourite cocktail bars!  Amazing cocktails and service in a stylish and spacious bar. The best bit about this place is once all the sofa area’s are taken they won’t let any more people in.  This avoids the bar getting too cramped and overcrowded!

Vibe: Friends / Date night
Good to know: It's tucked away in the basement so sometimes can be easy to miss from the street!

Vesterbrogade 72B, 1620 - Vesterbro
A typically super stylish cocktail bar on 3 floors and a good Whiskey offering for those Whiskey lovers. Has a fireplace downstairs and on the top loft floor.

Vibe: Big night out with friends / date night
Good to know: You can make table reservations online.  This is also another bar that is tucked away down an alleyway off the main street.

Gammel Strand 44, 1202 - City centre
The best place for the Gin fan!  Really cosy candlelit atmosphere and there is happy hour between 5-7pm! We also like how it doesn't get too busy in the early evenings so you are guaranteed to find a seat.

Vibe: After work / pre-party / 1st date night
Good to know: This street has some other small little bars and restaurants that are worth checking out too.

Rantzausgade 39, 2200 - Norrebro
Once a secret spot in Frederiksberg as it looked like a boarded up shop, however since a recent refurb it now has huge open windows. It's a small but cute cocktail bar with some of the best Scandinavian themed cocktails. Plus the music can be pretty good too. 
Vibe: Relaxed
Good to know : Since it has become less "secret" it can get a bit crowded if you are heading there late, however the bar staff are usually good at helping you find a spot.

Ved Stranden 20, 1061 - City centre
Not the most typically Danish bar in terms of super stylish interior, but the service is great and the bartenders are happy to chat and personalise a cocktail to your liking. They are pretty tasty and the list is extensive.  We definitely recommend coming here if you like a good choice of cocktails.

Vibe: When in the mood for a big night out it can be a good bar to start the night off with.

A Tiki themed for a relaxed and fun night out. The fire cocktails are a must! There is table service with fun and friendly bar staff.

Taste of Old England! Slightly on the expensive side but we feel its worth it. An exclusive vibe without being pretentious and still retaining that relaxed atmosphere.
